Serving clients in New Jersey (Telehealth Only) and Florida (Telehealth and In-person)
I am excited to share that I am now offering telehealth therapy services to clients in Washington DC.
Reaching out for therapy is often not about finding someone to “fix” you. It is about finding someone who understands what is getting in the way of connection, both with yourself and with others.
My work is centered around one core idea:
We all long for connection, but many of us carry experiences that make connection feel unsafe.
Many of the struggles people bring into therapy are not random. They are patterns shaped by past experiences, especially in relationships.
Some of the most common barriers to connection include:
These patterns are not flaws. They are adaptations that once served a purpose. Over time, however, they can begin to limit our ability to feel safe, present, and connected.
My practice specializes in working with individuals who are navigating:
Trauma can show up as anxiety, emotional reactivity, shutdown, or feeling disconnected from yourself and others. Complex trauma often develops over time through repeated relational experiences.
Single-incident or acute trauma can leave lasting imprints on the nervous system, impacting how safe the world feels and how the body responds to stress.
Patterns such as fear of abandonment, difficulty trusting others, emotional withdrawal, or anxious pursuit often have roots in early relational experiences.
These behaviors are often misunderstood as purely behavioral problems. In reality, they are frequently connected to emotional regulation, attachment needs, and unresolved pain.
Partners who have experienced deception, secrecy, or infidelity often struggle with loss of trust, emotional instability, and a deep sense of confusion and hurt.
Therapy is not just about talking. It is about creating experiences that allow change to happen at a deeper level.
My approach integrates:
EMDR helps process and resolve traumatic memories so they no longer feel overwhelming or intrusive.
As a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist, I use structured and evidence-informed approaches to help individuals and couples navigate addiction, accountability, and recovery.
Psychodrama allows clients to explore experiences, emotions, and relational patterns in an experiential and embodied way, not just intellectually.
This approach focuses on the nervous system and the body, helping clients release stored stress and build capacity for regulation and safety.
Telehealth therapy offers flexibility and accessibility without sacrificing depth.
For many clients, it allows:
Healing does not require being in a specific room. It requires a safe and attuned therapeutic relationship, which can absolutely be built through telehealth.
This work may be a good fit if you:
Therapy is not about becoming someone different.
It is about becoming more connected to who you already are beneath the patterns that developed to protect you.
If you are located in Washington DC and are looking for support, I am here to help.
